Note : The current model does not have a metal clip on the lid - it was intentionally removed because it is not necessary for proper popcorn preparation.

Instructions for making salty popcorn:

1. Pour oil into the popcorn maker so that the bottom is covered.

2. Pour the corn kernels into the container and close the lid.

3. Place the popcorn maker over a low to medium heat (campfire, grill, fireplace).

4. Constantly move/shake the container (shake and pop!) – this prevents burning and ensures even popping.

5. After a while you will hear the grains popping – continue until the popping stops (usually about 5 minutes).

6. Remove from heat source and allow steam to escape through vents for a while.

7. Open the lid carefully – watch out for hot steam!

8. Season to taste (salt, melted butter or our SaltyPop flavors).

9. Serve popcorn while it's still warm and crispy – ideally with good company
